Kanai Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Sano Hiroyuki, Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which has been in business for 154 years and has a brewery in Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is pleased to announce that it has begun selling a limited quantity of "Hatsunomikiri Unfiltered Genshu (Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Genshu)" from Thursday, May 26, 2022.

Hatsunomikiri Unfiltered Genshu (Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Genshu) is a Junmai Daiginjo sake that was well-received at the brewery's Hatsunomikiri event in May this year. It has been bottled in limited quantities straight from the storage tank, unfiltered (unfiltered) and without added water (genshu).

Brewed sake is stored and aged, and an event called "Nomikiri" is held to check the quality of the sake stored and confirm the direction of aging and its quality by cutting the "nomikuchi" (the stopper of the storage tank that allows the unprocessed sake to be extracted) of the storage tank. The first nomikiri of the year is called "Hatsunokiri" and is an important event to check the quality of the sake of that year.

While this is important for quality control, such as adjusting shipping times, it is also a very tense and joyful moment to encounter a sake that has been carefully crafted. We would like everyone to experience this unique moment, which cannot be experienced with commercially available products, and will be selling these limited edition sakes with serial numbers.

Enjoy it at room temperature for a light and fluffy taste, or chill it for a crisp, refreshing taste. Please enjoy it while feeling the season.
